2 catch cans are on, but quick question

2 catch cans are on, but quick question
how do i cover the clamps on the end of the SS hoses? i have chrome covers that came with the small clamps but have no clue how to put them on. in the pic you can see the red catch can, then it goes to daves catch can up front, then back to the intake

the clamp goes inside the chrome cover and then over the hose, i have had a couple occasions where i put the chrome cover over the hose, then the clamp. then after tightening clamp i slid cover over.
