well, its time to trade in the 2000...
we came across a beautiful yellow 04 vert with 9300 miles on it for a decent price and it is sitting in the yard right now...
i did a Carfax on it and it came back clean...
i just did a diagnostic test with the DIC and came up with quite a few codes...
can anybody please help me with this???
heres what ive got...
A1-RDCM...4 CODES
BO-RFA...2 CODES
A-6-SCM...2 CODES
AO-LDCM...4 CODES
99-HVAC
40-BCM
i probably should mention that the battery was dead due to someone leaving the courtesy lights on and we had to jump start the car...im not sure how long the battery was dead but i am guessing a day or so...
ALSO...the cruise control dosent work...i checked the fuse and it is OK...???
any ideas???
you need to post the codes. those are just the amount of codes in each section. the c codes are the current ones the h codes are history codes from the past. run throught the entire system manually its much easier than trying to write as fast as they blink thru the system in auto mode
i did run thru it manualy and i wrote down everything it said...
it did not tell me what the codes were...
it didnt even give me a C or an H like i expected...
now i have reset them so i cant duplicate them...can i ???

then you do not have any codes we can help you with. If you drive the car after resetting the codes run the diagnostic again and watch as it automatically goes through each subsystem. For a few seconds in each subsystem it will display any new codes that have shown up since the reset. If there are any codes you can go back to them manually so you have time to write them down.
I just replaced my dead battery and had about 10-12 codes. All of them are history ones. You should be able to reset them and you should be fine. But look at the codes like the others have said.
Some of mine were: U1064 (couple of times), B2282, B2283, B2284, B2295, U1255, etc.
