You have to cut the shroud in the area underneath where your existing air filter box is located.
The hardest part is getting the shroud out. Some guys have done the cut with the shroud still in the car using a roto cutter. Be carefull though, you're pretty close to the condensor. I had to remove/replace my shroud because it was already cut for a different CAI. A new shroud is about $35. Putting it back in was easy.
Also, if you have a painted hood liner (I know, most people dont) the front section of the bellows section will hit the hood liner. Not a big deal on a normal liner but it sure is making a mess of my Paula H painted liner. I did everything I could to get it as low as possible, like eliminating the grommets at the rad cover but it still hits.
Whole thing took me about 6 hours, prbly spent 1 of those cleaning up the radiator area.
All an all great quality, huge green cotton filter, relocates the MAF in front of the TB, and looks OEM, just the hood liner thing drives me crazy. You can access install instructions and photos on Callaway's web site.
Here is a nice pic that shows a comparison in size of filters for Vararam, Honker, and Stock. It also shows the Honker installed in the shroud. Looks like the Stock and Honker are about the same area.
