Will this make power??
I have a 01 ZO6 with H/C and headers, if I have the stock ZO6 intake manifold match ported and the TB ported will I pick up any power?? This is cheaper than buying aftermarket but the shop is charging me about $500 for it, is it worth it??? Thanks!!

after H/C installs match porting the intake is usually a good idea....having said that....if you picked up half a dozen rwhp...would that be worth it to you...?

Man,,,,what your paying $500. dollars for you can do your self! That stuff is a SNAP! There are tons of post on porting MAFs and cleaning up the intake is easy! Hell, a dremmel tool is only $60.
I seriously doubt that you would see more than 5 and at the very most 10 HP.
Are you sure that there are not any other C5 or C6 owners in your area that would be able to help you do stuff like this??
