Default Help

Went out last night, parked the vette and 2 minutes later was advised the alarm, lights & horn, were going off. Since the fob battery needed replacement, I used the key to unlock then locked which turned off the alarm. Came back two hours later, unlocked with the key, inserted the key in the ignition everything appeared normal, but when key was turned to start nothing happened. Played with it for several minutes, but still would not start. Came back in the am car started right up. Parked for approx. 1 hour, went to start and now will not start.
I replaced the battery in the fob and went through the recync process, but it will not sync and the car still will not start. Everything appears normal, gauges, horn, radio, but will not turnover.

Can anyone give me help, before I have to have it towed to the dealer.

Check battery connections?
Do you have the CLB or dealer installed bypass?
Dug this up off an old thread...

You can also force a PCM relearn.

1) Insert key into ignition and turn to the “ON” position, but, DO NOT START THE ENGINE.
2) Open the engine compartment fuse box cover and remove the two 10 amp fuses from position numbers 16 & 23.
a) According to the manual there are two fuse boxes. Use the engine compartment fuse block for this procedure not the instrument panel fuse block.
b) Engine Compartment Fuse Block (correct one): 16 is Powertrain Control Module A and 23 is Powertrain Control Module B.
c) NOTE: Your DIC will now display “check” messages for ABS, etc… Do not worry as this is normal.
3) Turn the ignition key to the “OFF” position.
4) Return to the engine compartment fuse box and re-insert both 10 amp fuses for positions 16 & 23

This won't clear any custom tune.
