My broke *ss didn't by from a legit dealer. Overpaid for an under-car. No warranty, just the bill of sale stuff. Though was getting a good deal, thought I could fix most of what ever went wrong myself. Dam do it yourself syndrome.
It sucks you are having problems but I am thinking along the same lines as everybody else, not that it matter because it is too late to worry about it now.
But I had always heard if you had a transmission with alot of mileage on it that you did not want to flush it because they usually have problems after that. You would think a good shop would tell you about that before they would flush it...?
I’m a firm believer in preventative maintains and I been thinking of draining + change filter and refill with synthetic ATF myself. I only have 31500 miles so I just figure if I get to it sometime this year I would be fine (only put 5000 a year). Maybe I should wait until 50,000 miles? I don’t like the idea of a flush since I have heard about similar problems especially with 100 K + miles.
