Confused about headers for 2001 C5 Coupe
When it comes to headers... I am a dummy. Heck, I do not even know the difference between long and short headers :o .
I would like to get a set of headers that will replace the stock 2001 LS1 manifolds and bolt up to the rest of my OEM system.
Is this possible? What kind of gains could I expect?
What are other options and what is involved?
Any help is appreciated!

There are a number of brands out there that bolt right on...
Among the leaders are LG, Kooks, DynaMaxx, ...
Based on a poll I recently posted, the favorites for
fit, installation ease, performance are American Racing headers.
Make sure you order the ones for 2001 and newer
With a stock engine you probably want the 1 3/4 inch and 2.5 inch high flow cats.
You need the headers, cross pipe, and high flow cats.
Most of the packages come with all you need for installation ( gaskets, clamps etc)
