Default Tire Help!!!

I have a quick question, trying to get it resolved asap...

I had been looking around on here and it seemed like people who had 18x9.5's and 18x10.5's went with these tire sizes:

275/35-18
295/35-18

So thats what I ordered on TireRack.com

They called me today to confirm becuase he wanted to warn me that there was a 1" diameter difference between the two.

Should I be ordering different sizes?

Here's what I ordered (to be used for auto crossing):

(Kuhmo Ecsta MX's)

THANKS!

Tire rack just contacted me recommending a 265/35-18 up front to make things work out better... does that sound right?

As long as you maintain a .50 inch difference between diameters you will be fine, with a slightly larger diameter in the rear.

Looks like there's a .8" difference betwen the 265/35 and the 295/35

Right now I have a 265/25/19 on the front and 305/25/20 on the back so there's a .7" difference currently.

What's going to be affected by the difference in diameters?

A .7 inch difference is about right and a 1 inch difference, with the rear being the larger is fine. A lack of difference will affect the traction control since the computer will see the rears appearing to spin and shut the engine down.
