Default Magic Stick V3

Hello everyone, I am not much on posting but I read the forum everyday. I have a question for all the engine guys.
I have a 2004 Torchred 6spd C5 with the only mod on it is the complete Z06 exhaust system from a friend who wanted to change his system out. So I did the swap for him and in turn kept his system.
So my lovely wife bought me a cam from our son-in-law. That was a very nice surprize but the cam specs are a little scary to me. My previous corvette was a 62 4spd with a pretty healthy 1970 LT1 with aluminum heads and all the goodies. But my knowledge of hi-po stuff is old school. So my question to everybody is this Magic Stick V3 cam I now have has .603/.609 lift and I am wondering if this cam will be streetable. I like to cruise and enjoy spirited driving but I also like the cruising at 1500RPM and the 31MPG. I don't really mind loosing some MPG but I don't want surging or lugging from a cam with no bottom end. Please everyone pipe in with your comments.
Also, what other mods would you recommend I install along with this cam. I know I'll need a tune and new springs but what else?

It's not what you want, serious.

Although streetable, the MS3 is a pretty big top-end cam, and the low end manners are not very good.

Based on your comments, I'm pretty sure you will not like living with it day-to-day.

A good mannered all-around street cam would be something like a TR224, a 224/228, MTI X1 230/227. or even maybe a F13 230/232. The MS3 is a 237/242.

My $.02.

IMHO, the Magic sticks are a bad choice and definately not what you are looking for.

I would look into changing the valve springs when you install the cam. The TR224 would be a great choice.
