Default Why do the two center tips change color?

I'm just curious why the two center tips of my corsa pace car change color?! Doesn't bother me, but just thought someone might know. Also, when it warms up in the morning, more smoke/steam/whatever comes out the two middle ones.

I think somebody stuffed a potato inside your outer tips. On a serious note now, your exhaust is exiting more from the inners. It the way they are made.

The Corsa's are all the same. The main exhaust flows more from the centers based on way that they are made. The outer pipes tee off the main center pipes basically for looks. I still love the sound.

Borla's about the only single outlet/quad tip exhaust I've seen that doesn't do that. They have a Y-junction that equalizes output to the tips. My Magnaflows have two outlets from the mufflers, so it's not an issue.

The quad tip Corsa exhaust I had on my 96 LT4 coupe, the outer tip did not function and were for looks only.

Or you could use my money to pay someone to shine them for you.

Simichrome will reduce or eliminate the center tip discoloration.

Strangely enough, exhaust flows from all four tips (with seemingly equal pressure) at idle.
