I put in a PCV catch can in my Z06 less than two months ago. After less than 1,000 miles of street driving (only a few times up to red line - normal driving 2-3,000 rpm), there is probably about 2 ounces of oil already in the can. I am switching over to a new can from Elite Engineering because I think it will do a better job of keeping even the oil vapor fumes from entering the intake.

I have the Elite catch can and have collected oil in it between oil changes. Today I went to Home Depot and bought some 3/8 heavy duty clear tub to replace the tub that runs from the outlet to the TB.
This way I can monitor the oil flow to the TB. My $.02

You will be amazed at how much oil gets trapped inside one of our Catch Cans
