Default LS1 part throttle problem

Hey fellas.
I have a 99 LS1 Z28 auto as my daily driver (my other ride is a C4 in case those of you were wondering why I would post on CF). I have noticed a problem lately that I read about that other people were having as well with their LS1's...between 2-3K rpm under less than full throttle, the engine feels as though it bogs down for a moment before regaining the power that it should have. Have any of you had this problem as well?
The car has a Corsa cat-back, Granatelli air box, and a de-screened mass airflow sensor. The car currently has 101K miles. I had a tune up done at about 70-75K miles with Denso Iridium spark plugs and new spark plug wires.
Any ideas?

Thanks.

So, none of you C5, at least early C5 owners have experienced this problem? I would think the problem is not specific to the F bodies....

The very first question I have is what DTC (engine codes) are being displayed. Please scan the PCM for codes and post them. If there are a ton of codes, write them down and clear all of them. Take the car for a drive and see if any PCM codes reappear. Make sure to include if there Current or History.

Did the problem just appear or did you accomplish some MODS and it happened????

Please let us know.

The car throws codes in the summer when I get on it. I had it checked out by 2 seperate mechanics and both stated that both rear O2 sensors were bad and that they would just reset the computer. The check engine light would go away after I stopped running the car hard after a while. Other than that, I don't have a scanning tool and would need to get that done. I was wondering if this was more of a common problem with this motor?

Go to Autozone! They read codes for free!!!! Get and post the codes. That will stop stupid second guessing! If you wish, you can disconnect the battery for a minute which will clear the codes. Then drive it and when you expierence the problem, drive the car to autozone and have them read the codes. WRITE THEM DOWN!

When you expierence the problem, look at the check engine light and see if you can see if it flashes. If it does, it's indicating a P-300 code which = cylinder miss fire.

Then post the codes here.
