Here is a list of mileages and maintenance items I've put together. Comments?

Every 6 months, apply dielectric silicone grease to weatherstrips GM 12345579, Ecklers A2524 ($23.95 -10%), http://www.mcmaster.com/ search for Krytox
Every 12 months, apply “Multi-purpose Lubricant Superlube” to key lock cylinders, hood and door hinges
Every 12 months, apply “Lubriplate Lubricant Aerosol” to latches
Every 36 months, coolant
Every 30k miles, replace air filter (ACDelco A917C), spark plugs
Every 50k miles, change ATF (DEXRON III) and filter

Engine oil Mobil 1 10W-30, Red Line Oil 10W-30, 6 quarts
Engine oil filter ACDelco UPF44, Pep Boys
Air filter ACDelco A917C
Brake fluid ACDelco Supreme 11 (DOT3) GM 12377967
Automatic transmission filter ACDelco TF306
Automatic transmission fluid DEXRON -III ATF or Red Line Oil D4 Synthetic ATF, 5 quarts
Rear axle, SAE 75W-90 Synthetic Axle Lubricant GM 12378261, 1.7 quarts, GM Axle Lubricant Friction Modifier PN 1052358, 4 ounces -or- Red Line 75W80 Lightweight Synthetic Gear Oil, 1.7 quarts
Coolant Surge Tank Cap GM 10296465

Good list, but I would change the entire air filter assembly on day 1, and I would list the oil required as 61/2 quarts. Some swear they take 7.... :rolleyes:

I believe the coolant in current GM vehicles is good for 100,000 miles. It should be the red/orange Dexcool II stuff.

Coolant - replace every 150,000 Mi or 60 months
Spark plugs - replace every 100,000 Mi

Did you want to include belts?
A/C compressor - P/N 12556609
Serpentine - P/N 12561450

How many quarts of 50/50 antifreeze/water does my '97 take? And I should be able to use the DEX Cool II stuff right? Thanks for answering a stupid question.
