Default gears and converter...

yankeevette convinced me with a ride, that I'm going to have a converter and the 373 gears installed. now for advice from you guys, and please, no fighting, do I go to RPM's or DTE? I keep hearing on here that these two are great for this kind of work and I know that I would go to RPM for transmission work but was wondering about the converter and gears. Do any of you know of great places to go for this kind of work? I live near Detroit but would rather drive a couple of hundred miles if the service and quality was right. Experiences from you guys would be greatly appreciated....bob.

I can tell you first hand that the crew at DTE does great work and Phil will treat you right drop him a line pm or email and you will see what I mean. I have heard very good things about RPM also but I have not had work done by them. Phil and his crew did the gears and converter on my car and I could not be happier Give him a call you will see what I mean

Phil at skunk-werkz can be contacted via the internet address I left. Give a shout out in the Great Lakes forum and you will find Greg.
Both are located real close to I-94 and M-59 in Macomb County.
Just jump on 275 North to 696 east to i-94 east and you are there.Drop by Kart2kart while you are out there and have a good time in the go-carts!!
