I have a 98 vert. When I turn the key, my fuel rails load to 60lbs. When the fuel-pump stops, it drops to zero. Is the fuel rail suppose to stay charged? If so, is it the regulator that controls this?
If I turn the key to start after the pump was suppose to load the rails, it's intermittent. If I turn the key to start while it's still loading, it fires right up!
I'm planning going after the regulator, but wanted another opionion.
Thanks FRCTony.. I'm hoping it's the check valve in the filter. Or that one exists in the filter and it's bad, as I'm going to replace the filter anyways. I guess when I get home I could test the new one by determining if it passes are one-way and not the other!
