Default Falken Tires

Anyone runnig Falken FK452's on a C5. How's the dry and wet gripping performance? Anyone have comparison to PS2's. I need to upgrade from Goodyear EMT's.

Thanks for your input.

Practically speaking, almost anything would be an "upgrade"over the G.Y. EMT's!!

Sorry, I can't answer your question about the Falken tires, but if you're looking for non-EMT replacement tire, unless you're "locked in" on the Falken brand, you might give the NITTO 555 tires a look before you break out your wallet.

A set of four tires (stock sizes) will run around $650 -$700, plus tax, mounting, etc.

I've been running them on my 99 and 03 coupes for quite awhile, and I'm very impressed with the ride and handling qualities, both wet & dry, and the especially with the longevity of these tires.

The NITTO's I have one my 99 coupe have over 40K miles on them and there's still plenty of tread on them.... I'm guessing at least another
5-8K.......

Good Luck.....

My buddy has Falcons on his T/A and in my experience with what I have seen out of these tires is they suck. Not sure if they are the same model tire, but brand wise I dont care for them.

Thanks for your input. The best info is from the people that have them not from some test report.

Don't waste your money, put on my car and took back off in about
500 miles. Went back to Michilin Pilot sports.

I can tell you where to get them that is very close to Tire Rack prices and has the latest equipment and won't scratch the rims. Only place I trust with my new Z16 wheels I bought. They are in Mass.
