I need to replace the wiper control stalk on my car. To make a long story short, the washer button on the end sticks or it flys out causing and embarassing act of driving down the road with non stop wipers and fluid spray. Furthermore, I HATE the fact that my big fat hands keep bumping it and causing the wiper to streak my windshield when dry.
Since I need a new one, i want to replace with one that has a shorter stalk. So, does anybody know where i can find a shorter version of the OEM wiper stalk? I've heard they exist but am having a hard time finding one.
I have never heard of a shorter stalk. Its too bad they had to copy the ricer way of controlling the wipers. Now we all bump the wipers on when we don't want to.

I swore I have heard of them...I will get a OEM long one if I have to, but really would like to find a shorter version of at all possible.
Sounds like a good project for someone to R&D. I feel like a fool every time I do it. Maybe you could wire it through another switch so it wouldn't turn the wipers on w/o two deliberate actions?
