A trip to the dealer was how mine got fixed. There are some "how to's" here on the Forum about retraining your sensor(s) that you might try. Good luck!
SAVE THE WAVE :seeya :flag
it is not doing it now could the cold weather have caused it like it caused the low tire pressure reading.
one thing though the dealer changed the wheels on my car when i bought it so could that have something to do with it he upgraded me with polished ones from another car?
my next car will definetely be a hardtop.
i had to trade it because a dealer damaged the body on a oil change and the zo6 was to $$$ so i went with the coupe, but a zo6 is my next vette.
love your car!!!
Zeus, If the dealer changed your wheels and did not re-program all 4 sensors after they put the new wheels on, there is your problem. Just use the re-learn process that is in your owners manual. I learned that from the best tech on this board....C5TECH :D
i got this message this morning also got low tire pressure.
but have never seen service tire monitoring system before what is that about??
In the cold weather the air pressure in the tire will go down, if it hits 24psi, the message will be displayed, after driving for a few miles the tire pressure should go up a few psi, bringing up the air pressure to 25psi or above, and the message will not show. Bottom line, check you tire pressure with an accurate guage, and fill the tires to 30psi when the tires are cold.
