Stock long bolts are fine, use of the button heads on the valley is critical.
The torque is relatively light for the bolts with the FAST. As you know by now many FAST problems relate to over torquing.
I don't remember and car is in storage, don't the stock bolts bear up against the plastic directly? I know the FAST bolts use a DIN 7349 heavy washer under the bolt head to distribute the load to the upper shell.

Sock bolts are 4.5" long and have a normal thickness captive washer which does bear on the plastic lug. Stock torque is only 90 in/lbs.
