I don't get on here very often, but think I may need new plugs.
What are best plugs & what gap, do you torque them on installation?
It's a 98 A4 w/twin cone air intake, hi-flow air bridge, smooth coupler & BB Route 66 cat back w/73k miles. Car runs good thru gears, but cruising between 75 & 85 has a little stutter I feel rather than hear. Any suggestions other than an expensive dyno tune?
Thanks

I owuld start off with plugs/wires and a fuel filter. For N/A cars I would gap at 60, for blower or N20 30. I like to use NGK. I dont torque mine, I just get them a little tighter than hand tight and then do a quarter of a turn.

Lots of opinions......I opted for the delco iridiums. Gap pre set and they call them 100,000 mi. plugs. Not a job I wanna be doing real often as they are a bit tedious to change on these cars.

Thanks very much for the responses, I really appreciate the info. I think I'll try the delco iridiums, then wires & fuel filter, in that order.
Car is not throwing any codes, just has that little stutter when cruising.
