There are so many cams that willwork for you I cant list them all.
That will help you find the cam for you. Driveability can be a issue with certain cam choices. My questions for you is....

1. Is the car a daily driver, or a every now and then car?

2. What power level are you looking to get with the cam?

3. Driveability?

For a daily driver you want to stay with a 114 LSA cam. A nice cam would be a 224/224 Comp Cam. Nice idle and nice additional power in mid range. Call Comp Cams they will help you. Don't forget you're going to need a tune

Also, don't forget that the bigger your cam is, the more engine noise you're going to get. I did heads/cam and didn't realize how much more valve train noise the car makes. I hated it at first, but I'm kind of used to it now. Things to thing about when you start messing with the car.

The torquer 2 from Texas Speed was nice. I had it on my last vette. 114lsa wasn't too annoying.

from your description it sounds like you want a stong street cam without surge, noise and good low end power.
presently the preferred street cams are 224i, 228e with a lift
below .600 on a 114lsa (comp xe-r grinds)
if you don't mind a little rocking at idle go for a 112 lsa.
max setup I would use is a 228, 232 on a 112lsa+4.
there are people out there that can set you up with a custom grind
to get you whatever you want and cost is only about $25 over a common grind.
keep the DCR up this is where the daily driver cams shines. also watch
the pushrod length, incorrect length will def make noise.
