Default TAC Module WHERE, WHY & HOW? Please help

I just spent 400.00 at the dealership to replace the Throttle Positon Sensor because I had Reduce Engine Power and Service traction control system. They told me the problem was fixed a week later smae proble they said I had a bad battery cable but, I can read codes just as well as they can and I am getting CODE P1518 Tac module.
The 97 C5 is running good now except for engine light should I replace the TAC module? Where do I find one? How do I replace it and where is it located?

GM repair are often warr., talk to the serv. manager first

the tac mod. is piggybacked onto the pcm down on the pass. side frame rail

take a look at the wiring on the fuel rail crash bracket(aft LHS intake) for wire chaffing

it's most likely the tac mod., they often fail in the 97/8 cars

Bill Curlee has firsthand experience with this
