Is it the tank attachment to the aluminum core or the core itself? Check with Gene Culley on a new one for price. Of course, you could always go with a DeWitts, they are gorgeous.

If it's the side tank to the core seal, sometimes you can have a local radiator shop repair them.. If it's the core then replacing is the only way to go.. but If it was mine I would upgrade it to a DeWitts... BTW Let us know if you are interested in one we do sell them.

Sounds like a crack in the plastic end-tank. The stock radiators are a bit of a toy. I'll second the recommendation of replacing it with a DeWitts. Hell I replaced my stock one even though it was working just fine. If you compare a DeWitts against the stock one, you'll liable to start laughing at GM.

If you have an A4 I have one I took out of my car. Your welcome to it for the shipping cost if you like. I'm a maintenance freak and in 50K it has been flushed and filled 3-4 times.

Hey 16again, sure could use your radiator. I've got a Y2K vert w/ a-4 trans. I'll send you an email.

From what i'm reading the originator of this thread is going with a Dewitts (as I did). So long as i'm properly understanding that, I will be more than happy to send this to you. I also have a working lower temp thermostat (I think 180*) if you want. Just pay shipping, and pay it forward..... I'll go check the e-mails.
