The reason I ask is that I'm putting an LS1 in an older vette and I need to get an external fuel pump and I want to be sure it has enough fuel flow such that the pressure does not fall under Wide open throttle.
I'm currently looking at this one http://www.msdignition.com/fuel_7.htm
and I have not reason yet to believe it would not be sufficient, as I have no info on the required fuel rate. This one claims to support 500HP which would tend to indicate that it should be ok for a 350HP LS1. But it can be hazardous to trust such claims.
Also, does anyone know what the inside diameter of the fuel line is on 2000 and later models? That is the fuel line from the regulator near the tank to the fuel rail on the engine.

Thanks,
If you can get an intank pump I would recommend it. That pump is pretty cheap but you can also get an actual Walbro 255 lph pump too. The line you will want to use is just -6 line, or 3/8"
If you want a larger Bosch pump, I can get you one for about $300. These are the 044 pumps and will be more than enough for you.
a vette tech told me to install a mustang pump and then to use ls1 edit to reduce the injector cycle time to compensate for the increase of pressure in the lower rpms and idle
