I upgraded to the 06 Z06 shocks. They fit perfectly. The ride was harsh initially! However after 50-75 miles, it feels much better. Also, my rears had 92k(original). My original fronts were actually decent. They defeinitely tighten things up. I am running the Z06 sway bars, shocks, and base coupe springs. Seems to be a very good combination. I couldn't imagine having the Z06 springs.
me too. went with the C6 Z06 and the ride is pretty harsh for the first week or so. it seems to have worked the rocks out or i am starting to get used to it now. deffinately feels tighter in all aspects of driving. $200 ish for all four. much larger shocks around, but they fit right in no prob. get the C5 Z06 anti sways also. very nice upgrade from the base ones. you WILL feel the improvement. they go for around $220 a set also. do it all at ounce and save a little in the air time. you can do both for about the same as just the C5 Z06 shocks alone. i dont know why they are so much. even the C5 sways are more than the C6 ones. seems the C6 parts are less money all the way around now. maybe some of the corvette tax has been lowered
