Default Factory Wattage for headlights

I am about to order a new HID Low Beam kit (9006 bulbs). At the same time I want to replace my high beams (9005 bulbs) with something brighter and better.

I am looking at Xenon Plasma 9005 65W bulbs.

Wanted to know what the factory wattage was, so I do not have problems with the new bulbs.

This is what else I will be running: PIAA 1100x foglights, and HID low beam (9006) conversion kit.

Does anybody have some suggestions for the upgraded high beam (9005) headlights?

Thanks,
Rick

The best upgrade is to get the T84 Euro-spec headlights. Nothing beats a properly designed light pattern over "lump pattern". That aside ...

Going with "blue" or "white" bulb will never increase visibility at night and during inclement weather. See the coating on the bulb ? It does nothing but reduce the light output, sure, the bulbs will make your headlights look cool at night.

Stay with uncoated, clear bulb if visibility is what you are after at night.

There are more things to do to improve light output but that's a long write-up.
