Can't go wrong with the GM Red Wires.

Gene Culley at GM Partshouse can hook you up.

GM's are good wires for the cost as many above stated. I spent my money with Magnecore KV85's. I do not intend to by another set for the car these should last me a long while.

I put Melrose plug wires on mine - REASON: I had installed headers, and the Melrose wires were supposed to be heat resistant so I was trying to eliminate problems w/ the wires touching the headers - I think??? I might have found them on ebay - they were selling them for 1/2 price as I recall simply because they only had limited colors (orange and purple) available - I've been impressed w/ them so far, but I don't know if I would pay full price for a set. just my .02

I actually have the blue magnacores and they have been on for almost four years with out any issues what so ever! They fit the stock factory heat shields and I believe that really helps protect the wires. I run stainless works 1 3/4' LT headers and have never had any problems with the wires touching or getting burnt.

After seeing the GM red wires and examining them, if my magnacores died today,,,I would replace them with GM Red wires. The reasoning behind that is, the cost verses similar build quality.

Remember,,,,"Your NOT going to gain any HP,TQ or performance increases from wires. Your just going to get what the engine will output with a stock set of new factory wires. If you believe the hype go for those high dollar wires.

Funny thing is. i got the msd's last yr not knowing that gm had the red ones. i went with the msd's because they are red and wanted to match the color of the rest of the stuff i did under the hood. upon looking at the msd boots i saw they said DELCO right on them. just like the gm wires. one side is gm, one side is msd.

Or Taylor Fire Sleeves (higher heat rating I think) - either is good insurance if you are running headers.
