I went to visit my brother this weekend and when I was about to leave, my 6 year old niece informed me that she had a surprise for me and that I should wait inside until she gave the word to come out. When I went outside, there she sat on my hood with her two half-grown labs. They had to claw and scratch their way up. It totally ruined the paint on my entire front end. I got it into the body shop and when they started sanding the hood, they found cracks in the fiberglass. The estimate was almost $2000, but since I work at the dealership, I'm getting it done for almost half price. It still sucks! Oh well, no more rock chips on my front end.
Oh man. :( The worst part is that she was trying to do something nice for her uncle. Hope you still gave her a big kiss & then explained why she should NEVER do that again.

Re: My car got molested!!! (MikeV)
A six year old child should know better!!! I have a four year old Nephew who I wouldn't let come nearer than one mile to my C5!! You can't assume good/respectful behavior from a child. Take precautions and SAVE the WAVE!!
Reminds me of the time my 3 yr old (now 9), said "Dad, look at me" as he proceeded to "walk" up the nose and onto the T-tops of my Pace Car & stand there with hands help up high like Rocky. All we could do was laugh. thank god he was wearing sneakers.
 Even a six your old should know better or at least her Dad should have said something to her. Does the dad let the dogs on his cars??????? I bet not! :nono:
