Default Pfadt coilover preload

Has anyone else installed these coils themselves? I am curious if your springs are able to move freely up and down on the body when the wheels are off the ground, or if they are preloaded in a way that the spring only compresses and cannot move. I know once the wheels hit the ground the spring will compress and there will be no wiggle room but I'm curious what yours look like off the ground.

Just looking for a quick answer tonight, if not I'll just call Pfadt tomorrow. They are always very helpful.

I have no pre-load on mine front or rear. I contacted Aron Pfadt about this and he said that is completely normal.

hope this helps

With my LG's, not mounted on the car, I would compress them to the spring, and they would return all the way up and the spring would be loose on there. Hope this helps diynoob!! By the way, thanks for the PM back, hopefully it works!!
