I just purchased my first Vette last week. It's 2000 Sebring Silver Vert 6speed w/ black top and med grey interior showing 27K miles. The power it has stock was very impressive. I could do a 1st gear roll and the car would hook and pull hard.
I just installed a Vararam CAI on Wednesday. I first drove it out and did 3 1st-3rd hard runs. It felt good. Today I took it out and the car is blowing the tires off anywhere in 1st and even spinning in 2nd gear.

Did anyone else notice this much of a difference?
everybody else did. People (myself included) have been touting the virtues of Vram for years.
As you can see above, some doubt the gains. I personally agree with you as I also installed a VaraRam and immediately felt an increase in power. It is a great design.
The air temps have been anywhere from 30 to 50 degrees the past several days. I did drive it 600 miles to bring it home from Kentucky so I had a good feel for what kind of power it was making.
Now with the Vararam it's definately making more power. I've been drag racing (street/strip) for 19 years so I can tell the SOTP increase in HP. The Vararam was a great investment!!
Now it's on to the headers and exhaust. I'm 99% sure I am going with TSP headers and OR X pipe. Then it's the cam. Still doing research on the cam choice but the MS4 is looking good. Just want to make sure I can still lug around in 6th gear with no drivability issues.
Hey, If you ever need some help or want to go to Cecil Dragway let me know, I'm only around the corner from you.
Also time to update the bio.
I have a set of trickflows and a fast going on mine in the next couple weeks. Let me know if you would like to stop over, have a beer and check it out.
