The venturi pump info is correct -- it is driven off fuel/pressure that is teed from the main fuel pump feed that goes to your fuel rails. In addition under normal operating conditions, the passenger side tank is drained first completely before the driver tank is drained. So when you are at 1/2 tank of gas on the DIC, that means your driver tank is full and your passenger tank is empty.
