17" vs 18" wheels for road coarse?
Goodyear GSCS or Hoosier A6/ R6 or Kumho
or the 18x315/35 on 18x11 rims too.
Mich Cup tires need several laps to get enough heat to stick, then they do last.
I would try to use a 35 series tire to keep the sidewall down in size and less tire flex.
Rember R compounds should not be driven on the street / road i.e. to and from the event. and R compounds are measured in heat cycles not miles. Each time the tire is used and up to temp is a heat cycle.
but u beat me to it
very good info
i am in phoeniz AZ everything gets real fricken warm real fast here !
that why i was leaning towards the world cups
soft slicks can actually melt here
guys loose chunks out of their khumos and hoosiers!
thx again!
