cam is installed.....question though?

cam is installed.....question though?

just got my car back from vet drs. i have jba l/t headers, varram, bbk80mmm t/b underdrive pulleys, and just installed tsp 228r 114lsa cam.

dynoed 349... hp
337 trq

is this low, its on an 01 auto

maybe, but autos are not good on the dyno. They dont put down good numbers, unless you had some other work done. Get a good stall and that will help you on the track or street. Good Luck!

Those are pretty good #'s. You will never be happy because of all the dyno queens on the Forums. As Happa said get a stall and add some gears and you will leave the rest in the dust.

Do you know if the converter was locked when they did the pull on the dyno?

what would be a good reccomendation on gears and stall? i believe i have the 3.15 now. would it make more sense to go with heads rather than gears?

It was likely locked or the TQ would have been higher than the HP.

Gears and converter will give you better results than just heads. 3.42's and an SS3600 would be a nice driveable combo if that's a priority.
