Default NEED alignment after lowering?

So...do you need to align after lowering, or is it fine as is? I've heard both, and now not sure what to think.

Needs aligning! I've never heard that you wouldn't need aligning.

You definitely want to align it.

I didnt align mine, and it cost me.
I could show you a pic of my left front tire that is wasted on the inside after lowering.......if you want me too.

Same exact issue here. I learned the hard way and waited 3 months to align...then it wouldn't drive straight when aligned. Why? One of the tires was completely worn on the inside from lowering without an alignment.

A alignment is a good thing to have done. I finally lowered mine and will be getting it aligned shortly to make sure there are no problems.

I paid $88 including taxes for a 4 wheel computer alignment at my NJ National Tire & Battery. I believe they're a National chain.

The local Chevy dealership is getting $79.95 for a four wheel alignment on Corvettes. I commented to the service manager that many Corvette owners are lowering their cars and getting the alignments. He said his techs would do the lowering on stock bolts, no bushings cut, and still charge only $79.95. You might check with your local dealerships...

you should check the toe. Use my DIY guide to easily check your toe at home. You want it around 0 or slightly (1/32") in or out. If it is much more either way, just adjust each tie rod end to compensate
