I don't rev mine past 6500, others (Z06) go higher.

Edit: I see you have a Z, sorry can't help you there.

Pretty sure with proper intake and exhaust the G5X3 is a 6500-6700rpm cam. Some people wind to 7k but that's a bit of over-rev in my opinion.

6700-7000rpm, depending on gear/transmission/intake/valve float.......

Great choice on the cam, we love that one.

If you have the valve train to support it I'd spin that baby to 6,800 easy.

you WILL either get thee to a dyno tuner and have a REAL tune or you will never run right with a cam mod. That's "period"

You need to get the car tuned after the cam install, to truely maximize power gains.

I installed the G5X3 112 lsa cam recently and it will make power up to about 6800 rpm depending on your mods. I set my shift light at 6600 and rev limit at 6800. I flycut my pistons. Make sure your valve train will hold up and consider stronger rod bolts.

I bought the G5X3 on a 112 and was told that flycutting was not required with the stock heads.

I plan on using COMP921 springs.

Max RWHP is at 6800.

Peak torque is about 5400 rpm.

Set rev limit at 7k

Shift at 6800 with a shift light, 66-6700 if you're watching the stock tach, which is known to lag a bit.
