Ok guys, I need your help. My Dads 02 vette is making a popping noise in the right front passenger side wheel area. It sounds like a bad ball joint but not as loud. It's very noticeable when he hits a bump or turns the steering wheel. So, he has checked the wheel bearing, ball joint, rack and pinion and other suspension parts. No luck!!!
Another helpful hint:It's noticeable when you shack the vehicle on the right front side wheel area. The tires were also balanced a week ago. this car has 20,000 miles on the clock. Please help.... *****:
Was the noise present before the tire balance? If not, it could be as simple as loose lug nuts. Otherwise, I've also seen loose/broken sway bar end links that sounded like you're describing. Good luck.

Hey Ray, if you find out that it is the swaybar endlinks, I have extras that you are welcome to. I put the ZO6 bars on mine and they came with the metal endlinks.
I also have a set of ramps if you need to get under it to look.
Did you check shock mounts? I have come across more than a couple cars, no vettes though, that made that same noise from the wheel well area and it was the shock mounts. Just a suggestion.
