I am installing a tranny cooler in my 04 coupe and I need to know what fitting to use to connect to the radiator and the return line. I am using -6 AN fittings on the cooler so I need a -6 to male (?) for the radiator and a -6 to female (?) for the return line.
Hi--I installed a 6X10 cooler on mine and used -6 male X 3/8 flare male & 3/8 FIPT X 3/8 flare female-- Also a -6 male X 3/8 MIPT--No leaks they seal perfect--I got them at the local true value hardware store-brass fittings on some--Then I used female -6 swivels on the hose ends.
Oil never gets over about 190 and average about 160--used to get about 225 in town and 185 on freeway----I also installed a Deep sump trans pan adding 3 Qts.

I agree, If you do use brass fittings with AN fittings make sure you get use teflon paste. if you use a AN fitting to another AN fitting no paste or tape.
