Default Tire Pressure help please

I just bought a 98 and the tires say 44 LBS Max. The tire pressure sensors say between 36 and 38 but after i start driving the sensors come on and say high tire pressure. what is a good cold pressure to keep these tires.

30 psi cold

Recommended tire pressures are on a label in your door jam (drivers side).

Please don't take offense, but you should bone up on what all the little words and numbers mean on the side of your tire. It may save you some $$ or an accident from a blown tire down the road. TireRack has a great primer on its' website:
