suggestions needed....
I have a '99 frc...installed new ls6 heads, ls6 cam, long tube headers, fast intake w/ stock original ls1 throttle body. Also, just installed vortech supercharger. Since installing the fast intake, the car intermittently "loads up" and misses...idling, driving, it doesn't matter. Acts exactly like the choke being stuck on an older vehicle. I have removed the intake and made sure there were no vacuum leaks, replaced the throttle body gasket, and used silicone high temp sealer just in case the front of the intake is warped. What really puzzles me, is that this car will run strong and smooth one minute, then change personalities for no obvious reason. The engine is well maintained with 38k and was untouched until I bought it in December of 2006. I have a tune in it now that was e-mailed to me by diablosport, and seemed great initially, so I don't think it is the tune. I need to take the car to get it dyno'd, but I don't want to do that until I get this corrected. Any ideas?
