Ok I have asked this before... Looking for some other input actually. I have a 2000 Coupe, and I have a key fob that has a new battery and I used a tester at work and it shows to be working correctly. I hold down lock and unlock the remote will program, BUTTTT after I would say.... 15 seconds it loses the program. Any idea??????? I know alot of people say its just the key fob, but has any one else had this problem?? Please let me know!! Thanks!!
and yes i posted this in the general section also.
i am thinking i saw this once and the battery in the car was low causing this intermittent problem. does it happen with both fobs? i also saw a post where it had something to do with a bad (broken) connection in the fob for the battery. any codes on the dic?

don't know much more, sorry.

I only have one fob so im not sure.. If I keep hitting the lock and unlock the fob will stay working. so I dunno.
Do a search on fobs. I've read multiple posts on 2000 fobs that do exactly what you say about yours. In most every case, the end result was replacing the fob. If you could borrow someone's 98, 99, or 2000 fob long enough to program it to your car, it would prove one way or the other. The 98,99 will work (without the passive feature being available).
