How do I remove the speaker grills?

You can't remove them from the outside. Take the door panel off. It comes off pretty easily, undo the electric and speaker plugs, then on the inside of the door panel, you'll see how they come off.
for the door speakers. The rear speakers grilles on the coupe do just pop out.

Under the door handle there is a little plate, remove it and the two torq 30 screws. Get a panel popper and work your way around. Pop out or disconnect switch wires.
Speaker cover has tabs, that need to bent straight to get off.
