iat sensor removal

does that grommet really poke out of the hole its in? seems awfully tight, anyone took the plunge and got that out?, thanks

Just grab and pull it comes right out, on the reverse like work it back into the grommet

It'll wiggle out. If you're getting DTC P1111, several of us have had one of the wires break where it goes into the IAT connector. You might check it out with an ohm meter while you're there.

ok thanks i'll try again. yep i have the famous p1111 and th e p0113, i bet that wire is cracked somewhere, in fact i am in the middle of repairing a cracked wire in the lf wheel speed sensor pigtail, other than general cleanings i dont mess with the wires, its amzing to me how they just crack inside those harnesses, i'm getting better at finding them though , this forum saved me big time, many times, thanks again
