Default Welcome Back P0327

Well it's bee about 3 weeks without a check engine light (It was a good 3 weeks), but yesterday, the light was back on.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1636452
Looking into the codes, I see a single error : P0327 H
Interestingly, it's H only and not C, but it was still enough to throw the Check Engine Light.

Step 1 was replace a failed knock detector (front)
Step 2 was I found a bad connection at the back of the manifold where the KS harness plugs into the main harness. I bent the pin in the main harness, and that got me the 3 weeks of bliss.

I haven't done any testing yet, but I'm all but certain that the connector is again failing where the KS harness plugs into the main harness.
Assuming that is the issue, what is a permanent solution.

I'm thinking about cutting both connectors off and soldering the wires together and covering them with shrink tubing.

That seems a little draconian, but it will solve my problem once and for all.

OK you part-time EE's out there, what is my best bet?
