Billet Oil Filter Question
I just finished my 04 C5 Roadster, Just got it's final tune and came off the rollers (SuperFlow Dyno)@ 481rwhp/439.5 Trq. When starting this project I purchased a Royal Filter oil filter. It uses the one pass technology (never being bypassed). Six months later and I'm wondering why I bought into this?
If anyone has used this filter or technology and is there a downside? I have not installed it yet. I read recently that this type of filter will raise oil pressure. Does anyone use this filter, if so is there a downside?
If anyone's curious: LS1, Maggie@6.7psi, COMP Cams Xtreme RPM XR265HR Cam 212 218@115 (.558 .563), Bassani LT & X pipe, GHL catbacks, BlackWing. MotorSportImage did the install, Romans Designs Tune, etc, etc, etc.
Please, I'm looking for pros or cons before I use this very cool looking billet filter? Thanks for any feedback you may provide!
