dyno question

just wondering-im new to the corvette world(about 2 weeks). ive always had imports. i bought my 01 z06 with a halltech intake,dynatech header/exhaust/high flow cats. what kind of hp can i expect at the wheels-would this put me up or over the 02+ c5z? also-has anyone ever 1/4'ed their z06 -stock, or with close to the same mods as me. i know mfg says anywhere from 12.6 to 12.8, but i have a pretty knowledgeable buddy that says the car cannot pull under a 13.2(yeah it depends on driver, i know). basically-i need to dyno and 1/4 my car asap...but until then..help me out. thanks guys.

I've seen Z06s (regardless of year) put down around 340 give or take. Hell one time I saw an 01 stock dyno higher than 02s. I'd say 360 give or take...

With headers, intake and a tune...you should make more HP than a stock '02. It will need a tune though unless it's already been done.

you should expect around 390 to 400 horses..just an estimate..

360RWHP, give or take, with your current setup and a tune, and yes, your car can break into the 12's. Your friend is just jealous.

When my car just had headers, vararam and a tune, it turned consistent 12.3/12.4's at 118/119mph. Tell your friend he is full of BS and get to the track and prove it to him. There are quite a few guys on here that have gotten into the high 11's with bone stock Z06's.
These cars are damned fast, you just gotta learn how to drive them!
Launch is difficult and takes practice/seat time. Read Ranger's sticky on launch techniques,,,,,it will be a great help!
