If your getting a squeel, the belt might need to be repleced if it hasnt been already. Look at the belt to see if it has a glazed look about it( on the smooth side). Also check to make sure it isnr dry rotted or splitting. If thats the case its the belt.
Otherwise the water pump pulley bearing might need to be replaced. If the water pump was bad you would see fluid coming out of the weep hole.
To check bearings, place you finger where the bearing sits and rotate it. It should be smooth, if it isnt time to replace it. You can do that yourself with a hammer and a piece of wood. I would check other pullies as well to make sure you have the culprit.
It's been a while and I don't remember the exact location, but there's an idler pulley under the water pump or power steering pump. That was where my squeak was coming from. You might try the old "piece of heater hose used like a stethoscope" trick to see if the sound is coming below the water pump.
