F45, need help, still confused.....
I want to eliminate the F45 system, and go with the Bilstein sports. I know it's been discussed here on the forum many times, but there are various opinions and it seems that there are different solutions for different year C5's. I have an early '98 coupe (build date 8/97). Do I need simulators/resistors, or can a TECH-II delete the F45 option out of the BCM?

easiest way which I did and it does work is to go to ratshack and purchase four 10 watt 10 ohm resistors and solder them in at each coneection where the shocks are. Replace worn shocks with your choice. Look into the C6 Z06 shocks, they are great. 222.00 shipped i believe. Do a search on my posts and I give full details on how to do this mod. Its chaep and easy.
