I've been bad...
I finally cleaned the air filter in my Vortex intake. It's been, ahem, too long. :rolleyes:
I could not believe the sand and black gunk in the filter. I'm almost sure I'll have more power now that air can actually get to the engine. :eek:

I just did mine last week as well. First time since January! Bad me!!! I couldnt believe the amount of dirt I shook out of it!

I did Auto-X last October and spun off the track into dirt. There was sand and dirt EVERYWHERE. Well, I've cleaned my filter once since then. :eek: I did it right this time though.

Shan, get an extra filter, that way you will always have a clean one and won't have to wait thill the other one dries before you can drive your car.

I clean the K&N on my C5 and TTZ every 10k miles or so. They seem a little dirty, but I've heard that some dirt/dust will actually help with the filtering.
