car won't start
I drove my '98 into the garage on Sun. Went to go out the next day,turned the key and the dic said,"reduced engine power, check engine, service abs, traction control" turned key to start and motor turned over normal but motor does not try to start. sounds like no spark and it's not out of gas. I read another thread about a similar problem, owner states he cleared dic and car ran fine. How do you clear dic? I am looking for sugestions before I pay $200 to tow to dealer and take a pocket full of money. With some clues I won't sound as stupid as the service man or woman. I have only had the car for about 6 months so its means going to a new dealer, that is always scary. thanks in advance.

Sounds like electrical gremlins. I would check the electrical sticky at the top of this page by Bill. It could be corrosion around a ground.
To reset the codes just hold down the fuel button and press the options button 4 times. This will get you into the codes. Just manual go through each section and press and hold the reset button to clear them.

codes
when you get the codes, have a piece of paper and a pen. clear each one slowly so you can write down the ones displayed. the ones with an H are history codes, meaning that fault appeared, the computer did a time stamp on it, and is just notifying you that it occurred.
