Default SCM B2605 Code

Well, I believe the code refers to the drivers side seat and a failure of a sensor to know the vertical position of the front of the seat. I guess it wants to keep track of something like that for the memory options that are available.

Does anyone have sugestions on what I should do to run down the cause of this code? Also, is the sensor in question an integral part of the SCM or located elsewhere?

Thanks

Default Scm

What all does the SCM actually have a part in? Reading other posts it seems that at least some part of the air bag operation goes through the SCM. Is this correct?

This B2605 code is the only code I am getting. Anyone have any input on how to fix it or how they fixed it?

Thanks
